Good posing can be the difference between an athlete taking first place or not even getting looked at. Regardless of how great your physique is, posing can make it or break it.
Mastering the bodybuilding poses required for your Federation is one of the most critical elements of preparing for your show. It isn’t simply a matter of walking, turning and flexing at the right moment. Posing is a learned skill that takes practice – potentially in heels.
The judges will closely scrutinise your posing and deduct points if you don’t nail it. Posing is equally as important as your physique and stage presence. That’s why I can work with you throughout your preparation, through my online posing coaching sessions.
A posing coach will give you the edge
You might think you can replicate the poses you see online and in magazines, but the help of an expert coach makes all the difference. Even if you’ve been competing for some time, a coach can help identify any weaknesses you have in your posing and help you take your technique to the next level.
For first time competitors, I believe a posing coach is essential. You need to master the poses, transitions, walks and turns, in heels, with a smile. It’s an essential skill and a coach will help make the process simpler.
